BRENT L. WELLS, P.T., D.P.T., O.C.S.___________________________

 

 

Director/Owner

 

Dr. Wells has had the opportunity to practice in several physical therapy settings including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, wound care, and outpatient orthopaedic and sports physical therapy.  His primary focus has been treating the orthopaedic patient while conducting research in the areas of manual therapy, low back pain, athletic knee injuries, and ergonomics.  Brent spent three years serving as liaison between the Orthopaedic/Sports Medicine clinic at University Hospital and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.  Additionally, he spent another three years as a physical therapist in a premier outpatient private practice facility serving those with orthopaedic and sports injuries.  Through the American Physical Therapy Association Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, Dr. Wells has earned his specialization as a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist, and has also furthered his education by completing his doctorate degree in physical therapy.
